Projects: Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital
PACE won the bid to curate artworks throughout the new wing of the internationally renowned children’s hospital. Work included a giant inflatable sculpture (6 storeys high), an installation of cast objects inspired by children’s toys over 6 storeys of the entrance atrium, interactive screens in the lift corridors, a specially created film for the interior of the lifts, and environmental graphics on all floors including bathrooms, corridors, wards and treatment rooms.
The artists included Suky Best, Samantha Clark, Hoss Gifford, Kenny Hunter, Susie Hunter, Mariele Neudecker, Unity Peg, Clare Twomey.
PACE’s role included devising the arts strategy, consultation, curating, project management of the production and installation of the artworks and financial management.
