Projects: The Community School of Auchterarder PACE curated, fund raised and project managed an extensive programme of public art for the interior and exterior spaces of a new nursery, primary, secondary and community school. Examples of the work include photographic friezes, signage, flooring designs, light boxes, seating, play equipment, shelters, a 60m long typographical pavement, and the entire redesign of a playground. The artists were Gordon Young, Susie Hunter, Samantha Clark, Lucy Richards and Alec Finlay. PACE’s role included devising the arts strategy, fundraising £270,000 (including 5 arts lottery awards), consultation, curating, project management of the production and installation of the artworks, financial management, developing education programmes, press and marketing.
